こんな特徴
ギリシャ語で「2つの袋」というの意味があり、花に袋状の突起が2つあるディアスキア。常緑で－5℃程度までの寒さ耐えるため、花が少なくなる晩秋から冬にかけて、鉢や花壇で見られます。南アフリカに約70種が分布しています。
管理
高温多湿で蒸れやすいので鉢植えにします。日当たりの良い場所を好みます。
水やりは土の表面が乾いてからたっぷりと与えるようにします。花が少なくなってきたら半分に切り戻します。
