こんな特徴

オンシジウムは、和名を雀蘭（すずめらん）、群雀蘭（むれすずめらん）といいます。英名はButterfly orchid、Dancing lady orchidです。小さな小輪種から大輪種まで様々なものがあり400種類以上といわれています。ランの仲間でラン科オンシジウム属の多年草です。品種によって開花時期や草丈、性質も、異なります。花色は豊富で、黄色、ピンク、白、オレンジなどです。育てやすく、咲かせやすい洋ランです。

管理

冬は、室内の日光がよく当たる窓辺などに置きます。5月から10月半ばまでは、日が当たる場所を選んで戸外の風通しのよいところに置きます。
